Mark Gronowski joined Barnes Associates in 1996 and is a partner in the firm.  He is based in Chicago, Illinois.  In addition to having extensive involvement in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions activities, Mr. Gronowski directs the firm's Research and Consulting work.  Under his direction, Barnes Associates has assembled an extensive database of security alarm company performance results, as well as pioneered several analysis techniques now widely used in the alarm industry.  Prior to joining Barnes Associates, Mr. Gronowski held several corporate finance and business development positions with Ameritech, where he was involved in Ameritech's decision to enter the alarm industry.  Most recently he worked with GTCR on their purchase of Protection One, Inc.
