Joe Nuccio was named the President and CEO of ASG Security (Alarm Security Group LLC), in Beltsville, Maryland, in September, 2003. Mr. Nuccio sets the strategy, vision and direction for ASG Security. He leads the senior management team, builds the culture of the company and makes strategic acquisitions.

Joe Nuccio brings 25 years of electronic security industry experience to the company. Prior to joining ASG, he served as Protection One’s Central Region Vice President with responsibility of overall management of 16 operating companies and 20 states.

His background includes large company experience and entrepreneurial work. With Securitylink from Ameritech, then the second largest electronic security service provider in the U.S., Nuccio held various executive level positions from 1984-1998. During his tenure, Nuccio was involved in over 50 acquisitions, including the development of Securitylink’s largest operating company. By consistently focusing on a best practices approach to building the business, he integrated the company’s financial, sales, operations and human resource platforms.

In 1998, with already 15 years experience to his credit, Joe Nuccio joined Signature Security Group as its Chief Operating Officer. In less than 4 years, Nuccio led the Australian company to a position of market leader by effectively consolidating 73 acquisitions and developing its long term growth strategy for Australia and New Zealand. In September, 1999, he was named the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Under his leadership, ASG has risen from the 27th largest U.S. security company in 2003 to the security industry’s 11th largest today. In 2008, ASG Security was recognized as SDM’s Dealer of the Year. Most recently, ASG was honored as Security Sales & Integration Magazine’s 2009 Installer of the Year.
