Alex Dunn is the Chief Operation Officer at APX Alarm in Provo, Utah. He has extensive experience in building successful companies. As co-founder and CEO of LavaStorm Technologies, a telecommunications software company, he grew the company from nothing to over 200 professionals and secured $55M in financing, positioning the company for an eventual acquisition. Later, as an entrepreneur-in-residence, at the venture capital firm General Catalyst, he started M-qube, a mobile media management company. M-qube secured over $25M in venture financing and was sold to Veri-Sign. Most recently he served as Deputy Chief of Staff / COO to Governor Mitt Romney in Massachusetts. He has been instrumental in closing both the equity and debt deals for APX Alarm. Alex received his bachelors degree from Brigham Young University.
